What does the school spend the money on?

Year 2 Chicks

we have purchased the kit required to incubatechicks. With the support of a contact of the PTFA.

One challenging aspect of educatingchildren is to gain and retain their attention. To enrich thelearning of life cycles we feel it is extremely important to have hands-on experiences in their classes and educational experiences.

The chicks will be living at Calcotfor approximately 3 weeks, after this they will return to their forever home aspets. Mr Withers has kept poultry as pets for a long time and is very knowledgablyon the subject.  We are very grateful tohim for lending us some equipment, knowledge and taking the time to set up forus.

We’re looking forward to meeting ourfeathery friends.
